10 Healthy Smoothie Recipes to Celebrate Warmer Weather
It’s officially spring, and to kick off the warmer weather we’ve created 10 healthy smoothie recipes to help you start off this season the right way. Try these recipes to make yourself a weekday treat, use them for a weekend breakfast, or take them on-the-go when you’re in a hurry. The smoothies on this list are made with almond or soy milk and use natural sweeteners, such as honey, for an added health benefit.
Feel free to substitute frozen fruit instead of fresh to avoid adding ice to every recipe. In addition to celebrating spring, several of these recipes also include spinach as an ingredient in honor of National Spinach Day today. #1. Triple-Berry
I figured we’d start off with a few more popular smoothie varieties. This is one of my favorite smoothies—I can never get enough berries. Use stevia instead of sugar to sweeten this recipe.
Ingredients:
½ cup blackberries
½ cup raspberries
½ cup blueberries
1 cup soy milk
Dash of stevia
Ice
#2. Tropical
Another standard smoothie, this one throws a curve ball with the addition of a little raw spinach. Make sure to opt for coconut sugar to stick with the tropical theme of this recipe.
Ingredients:
1 mango, cubed
½ cup pineapple
2 tablespoons cream of coconut
¼ cup raw spinach
1 cup almond milk
Dash of coconut sugar

#3. Green Giant
This recipe is named for all its featured green fruits as well as the dash of spinach included. Enjoy this smoothie when the winter weather is officially gone, and tree leaves and grass start to come to life again.
Ingredients:
1 avocado, sliced
1 cup honeydew melon
1 kiwi, sliced
¼ cup raw spinach
1 ½ cups soy milk
1 teaspoon honey

A popular ingredient for superfood bowls, you can’t go wrong with an açaí smoothie recipe. This features several ingredients typically used in açaí bowls, as well as some added spinach.

½ cup blueberries
1 banana, sliced
½ cup granola
½ cup strawberries
¼ cup raw spinach
1 ½ cups almond milk
Dash of coconut sugar

This is one of two recipes we’ve included that’s heavier on the spinach. Enjoy that great strawberry banana taste with some added veggie undertones.

1 cup spinach

1 cup strawberries
½ cup vanilla Greek yogurt
1 cup almond milk
1 teaspoon honey

#9. Just Peachy
Did you know pitted dates serve as a great natural substitute for sugar? This smoothie features them to help make this recipe just the right amount of peachy!

This smoothie is packed with lots of ingredients and is our second spinach heavy recipe. Don’t skip the cinnamon—this spice has plenty of additional health benefits.
